About Melissa
Relationships over transactions

I've come to believe that most of what we want in life comes back to connection: with ourselves, with the people we love, and with the communities we're part of. And connection isn't something you can force. It grows when we're present, curious, and honest.
A phrase I return to often is listening to the listening. So often we hear through a filter of old stories, fears, or assumptions. When we notice that filter, new conversations become possible.
I also hold onto this: how we do one thing is how we do everything. The small, everyday ways we show up are where real change starts. That's why I care about progress over perfection.
Thriving with Melissa is my space for that work, through Connect2Thrive and Rooted Relationships, and through conversations, workshops, and resources still being shaped.
You're worthy of connection, and you don't have to chase it.
I'm a wife, mom, entrepreneur, and real estate professional. I've built businesses, raised a family, navigated difficult relationships, celebrated incredible wins, and experienced plenty of moments when life didn't unfold the way I thought it would. Some of my greatest lessons have come through challenges, uncomfortable conversations, and the willingness to look at myself first.
For much of my life, I struggled with my own worthiness. I believed being enough was connected to what I accomplished, how much I gave, what others thought of me, or whether I was getting everything right. Along the way, I began to recognize something that changed how I saw myself: I was never lacking worthiness. I was learning to recognize what had been there all along.
That journey inspired me to write Worthy of Having It All, a deeply personal exploration of self-worth, limiting beliefs, personal responsibility, and the freedom that comes from recognizing that we don't have to earn our right to live a fulfilling life. To me, having it all doesn't mean life always goes our way. It means we can stop questioning whether we deserve love, joy, connection, and fulfillment—and take responsibility for the life we're creating.
I believe in curiosity before judgment and responsibility over blame. I can own my choices without controlling someone else's. We can love people and have boundaries, care deeply without chasing connection, and learn from disappointment without making it a verdict on our worth.
Through Connect2Thrive and Rooted Relationships, I create space for honest conversations, better questions, and new perspectives. I don't believe people need to be fixed, and I'm not here to tell you how to live your life. I'm here to support you in discovering what's already possible. Thriving isn't about a perfect life; it's about being present, taking responsibility, and creating a life and relationships that truly matter. I'm so glad you're here.
